Fun Halloween Activities For Everyone!

Halloween ActivitiesHalloween is one of the most exciting times of the year. There are many activities and events that are going on around you that only happen for a few weeks around this time.

The weeks leading up to Halloween can be filled with hair-raising, adrenaline pumping, memory making fun.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

Take the kids out for a trip to the pumpkin patch. Many of the patches will have different events going on that the kids can take part in while you are there. They could have pumpkin rolls, hay rides, pumpkin and face painting and other activities that kids will enjoy. After all the fun and games are over, they can pick their very own pumpkin to take home and transform into a jack-o-lantern.

Cornfield Mazes

Another activity that can include the young ones is the cornfield mazes. Farmers in many areas will carve out crazy mazes throughout the dry corn fields. It is up to you to find your way through the maze to the end. When planning your adventure, be sure to learn if these are the kid friendly fields or haunted fields as some will have monsters and goblins jumping out and giving your heart a good skip.

Hay Rides

Family friendly hay rides are given during the day at many places and those same hay rides are transformed into adrenaline pumping scare rides after the sun sets. Ghosts drop from above and zombies rise from below as you take your ride past the makeshift graveyards and haunted houses.

Haunted Houses

Get a real good scare while visiting one of the many haunted houses in your area. The scare levels will vary from place to place so you may be able to find one that is suitable for smaller children while others are so petrifying that even the adults in the family may have a difficult time. Some haunted houses are so terrifying that they offer guests a reward if they can make it through the entire thing without jumping through one of the emergency exits along the way. These are oftentimes more expensive than others, but if you are out for a good scare; it is exactly what you are looking for.

Trick or Treating

You cannot leave out the most popular Halloween activity that there is – Trick or Treating! There are some areas that have scheduled days for Trick or Treating that are not on Halloween. This means that you can get out more than one day of traipsing through the neighborhood for goodies. Two nights of dressing up, hitting the streets and getting all the candy that your bags can hold.

Have a Halloween Party

Still haven’t had enough Halloween fun? Throw a party! Everyone loves a good costume party. If you get a few people to work with you on the plans, you can quickly transform your back yard into a haunted scene from your favorite horror movie. Food, games, dancing, music and fun will send your guests home with smiles on their faces and Halloween spirit in their hearts.

Halloween is fun on many levels for just about anyone. Dress up, go out and have enough fun to hold you over until the next year comes around.
