Stephen King’s ‘It’ Decorating Ideas

Decorate your home, for a party or just because, with Pennywise items based on Stephen King's

Looking for Stephen King's It decorating ideas? Then you are in the right place!

After seeing the 2017 version of It my daughter has become fascinated with Pennywise and said that she wanted to know what she could use to enhance her already creepy bedroom.

That got me wondering what kind of It things are available for the home and I'm quite pleased with what I've found (so is my daughter, who now wants the coffin clock!).

What you see here are my favorite of the items I found online at both Amazon and Etsy. There are plenty of options here that you can use if you want to add a touch of King to your home or to decorate for a party.

2017 'It' Movie Poster

Perhaps the easiest thing to do is hang a poster on a wall. This one is a replica of the theatrical poster used when the Chapter One movie came out in September, 2017.

Floating Pennywise Decoration

You know how Pennywise likes to tell people about how they will float down in the sewers? Well, It also floats when out of his lair, with a little help from strings that you can use to attach this to a ceiling.

Yellow Rain Slicker

Poor little Georgie Denbrough. All he wanted to do was have fun and play with the paper boat his big brother Bill made for him. Then It came along and spoiled the fun.

You can add a creepy element to your It decorations by including a child's sized yellow rain jacket. For example, you could place it on a chair. Tie a red balloon filled with helium to it to let everyone know who this represents.

If you are crafty they you could cut off one of the arms and add fake blood. It doesn't matter which arm you remove because it was the left one in the book but the right in both film adaptations.

"It" Box With Hidden Compartment

This looks like a hardcover copy of Stephen King's "It" but if you open it up you'll see a hidden compartment instead of pages. The picture on the outside of this handmade box is of the killer clown, but I don't think this was an actual book cover. It if was, I couldn't find it, but that doesn't make this look any less authentic.

Pennywise Kitchen Apron

This apron depicts a vintage 1958 poster for a circus-type show featuring Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Although the clown might look happy in this picture, this is one show I'd avoid at all costs!

I love this clock! It is handmade with gorgeously vibrant colors. The shape is that of a coffin, reminding you what will happen if you meet up with It.

What could be more welcoming than a killer clown outside your home? Not much! All you need to do is stake this to the ground and plug it in for an instant Pennywise who will be happy to greet any guests you have.
